Have you ever had a crap day? And then, something happens, and you shift out of that, almost straight away.
That has happened a lot to me in the past couple of years and I see it as a sign that the Universe has my back. Early last year, I had one of those big zigzag moments. This was before I started to make digital journals and planners. To boost my energy, I walked to a coffee shop in my neighbourhood to do ‘people watching’, have a coffee and write in my Gratitude Journal. It helped a little bit, but I felt like crying and thought to myself: I don't know what to do, how should I move forward, and what am I supposed to do with my life! I finished the coffee and started to walk home. As I was walking I heard a voice saying: Look down! Look down! I did, and I saw this tiny flat plastic minion that probably would have been on a keychain. As I looked down I started laughing because it was so funny! I picked the minion up, took it home, cleaned it and put it on my kitchen bench. Suddenly, the energy shifted, and I almost forgot what I was sad and worried about. Another time a similar thing happened. I wanted to learn more about how to connect with God and the Universe and how to talk to my angels. This was about 10 years ago. 20 years prior, I had started a similar journey but had no understanding of the importance of protecting myself. Back then, I opened up to everything and attracted negative entities, I got scared and shut it out for 20 years. So back to ten years ago. I had the urge to give it a go again, to connect to the light source, God the Creator again, and learn to talk to angels. As I was thinking about this and cleaning my garage, a book fell out of a box of books I was going to give to a second-hand store. This book is called ‘Angel Speak - How To Talk With Your Angels’ by Barbara Mark and Trudy Griswold. Exactly the book and a revisit I needed at the time! This book did help me to connect with my Angels and also my star family. (More my podcast out Ascension Talk With Yenny, episode 1) I believe we receive signs from the Universe all the time. Sometimes we don't see them, sometimes we do. Sometimes it might show itself with a minion on the ground, someone giving you a smile or a book falling out of a box. The magic is that everything like that happens. It's free. And it's just for you to receive only if you want to. You just have to be open to see it.
Recently, I had the urge to write my parents. It wasn't anything grand or earth-shattering, just a simple, genuine appreciation for all they've done for me throughout the years. So, I did what felt natural—I wrote them a letter.
This is what I wrote. (Translated from Swedish to English) To my Mom and Dad, I wanted to write this letter and say how much I appreciate you. You have always been there for me and Charles (my brother) always supported us when we needed it. You have always encouraged me to walk my path and learn from my mistakes. You have never judged me or told me what I have to do, or what to become when I ‘grow up’, and for that, I love you so much. I feel I have won the lottery to have you as parents. And I'm so grateful for everything you have, and everything you do for me and wish I could be as good a parent as you one day. I love you so much and look forward to seeing you in July.” Yenny It may seem like a simple gesture, but for me, writing letters is always a positive cleansing ritual — a Feng-Shui cleanse on paper! Over the years, I've turned to letter writing as a form of therapy— a way to confront unresolved feelings, mend broken relationships, and celebrate the beauty of connection and everyday life. Whether it's expressing gratitude to loved ones, reconciling with estranged friends, or even acknowledging my shortcomings, putting pen to paper has always been a source of healing. One of the most liberating aspects of letter writing is that it doesn't always require sending. Sometimes, the act of writing itself is enough and sometimes I even burn the physical letter.

I must say I really love them, but iPads and Android tablets are amazing tools too. For the past 5 years or more, digital planners and journals have emerged as a compelling alternative, offering a wide range of benefits that make them not only efficient but also environmentally friendly. Here are a couple of reasons why I love digital planners and journals: 1. 📔🖊️ The Convenience of Digital Planners One of the primary reasons digital planners caught my attention was their unmatched convenience. With an internet connection, you can access your digital planner from virtually anywhere. If you are using an undated planner or a journal and an annotation app such as GoodNotes and are using many devices, you can sync it through the cloud, and it will constantly be updated! No internet? No problem! Once you have downloaded the app and have your planner or journal, you can use it as much as you want and, if needed, sync it to other devices when you have a Wi-Fi connection. 2. 📔🖊️ Personalise it with colours and stickers! Make it fun!Another significant advantage of digital planners is that they give you the freedom to tailor every aspect to your specific needs and preferences. You can choose colours and fonts and add stickers (lots of fun!), photos, and emojis to make your planner uniquely yours. You can also add, delete and move pages around. 3.📔🖊️ Create vision boards in minutes! If you are tired of collecting magazines for vision boards (which takes me ages!), make one using your digital journal. Take a screenshot on the internet paste it into your empty page and voila, there you are! When you are done you can print it and hang it up on your wall or why not keep it as a screensaver on your PC/MAC desktop or iPad/Android tablet! 4.📔🖊️ An Environmentally Conscious Choice By using digital planners, you're making an eco-friendly choice. You significantly reduce the need for paper and ink, which ultimately helps save trees and minimise waste. It's a small step towards a greener, more sustainable future. 5.📔🖊️ Reusability and Zero Waste One of the standout features of digital planners is their reusability. Unlike paper planners, which are discarded after use, digital planners can be used repeatedly without generating waste. This makes them a fantastic zero-waste option, aligning with the growing sustainability movement. 6.📔🖊️ Enhanced organisational Features Digital planners are not just about replacing paper; they also offer a range of powerful organisational tools. Some planners have features like reminders, notifications, and syncing across devices that make it easier to stay organised and on top of your schedule. These features can be a game-changer, helping you be more productive and efficient in managing your time. At times, this can also be limited for some people, so I have chosen to create undated yearly digital planners that you can download and use right away. Once you are finished you can copy and rinse and repeat! 7.📔🖊️ Saving Time and Space Digital planning can save you time, especially when it comes to making changes, rearranging tasks, or searching for specific information. The digital format allows for quick edits and searches, eliminating the hassle of flipping through pages. Moreover, it's space-efficient – you can keep your entire schedule on a device, reducing the clutter associated with paper planners and various gadgets.
